How do I access the databases from off-campus?

Answer

Use your WCSU Windows account and password.  When you select a database to search from off campus, you will be presented with an authentication screen:

  1. There are now 2 paths for authentication when accessing databases from of campus.
    First, the original path consisting of your univ. ID number in concert with your library PIN.
    The second path uses your Windows login, and the password that accompanies it.
    You can test the 2nd path via the MY Record link in CONSULS. This second path also
    requires you to choose WCSU from a drop-down box on this login page.

    This second path may also be used ahead of hitting the database. By this I mean that you
    can log into your CONSULS account with either path described above, stay logged in,
    open a new window to access a database.
