Q. I'm trying to study in the library and people aren't being quiet when asked. Where are the quiet spaces to study in the library?

Answer

We have a severe lack of group study space in the library which is sometimes the problem when people gather together to work in groups.  We encourage people to check out a group study room at the circulation desk if they can to help minimize noise in the library for those who prefer quiet study. A librarian can send someone to quiet people down and then see if we have an enclosed space for them to use if they need to work in a group. You may also want to try studying on the upper floors of the library above the first floor. The first floor tends to generate the most amount of people with the cafe close by to the circulation and reference desks.

My apologies for this.
