How can I access resources in health education?

Answer

Health education resources span many content areas and formats.  Some items are part of the Curriculum Collection, and some are part of the Haas Circulating and Reference Collections.  Many items are multimedia and/or are packaged as teaching kits.

Depending on the type of information you want, you would use different resources. For books you would search in WestCollections or Ebsco eBooks. See about this here. For articles, you would use a database such as the Cumulative Index for Nursing and Allied Health Literature (CINAHL). There are two short videos, linked below, to demonstrate using CINAHL

For more information, take a look at the Health Promotion & Exercise LibGuide

You can also contact Tom Schmiedel, the Library Liaison for HPX, for a research consultation. schmiedeltf@wcsu.edu, and he would be happy to respond and/or set up a Webex meeting
