Do you have a foreign language DVD/VHS collection?

Answer

WCSU Libraries' collection of world language films are held on the 2nd floor of Haas Library. You can browse titles there.  Feature films can be found in the "P" section of Library of Congress classification system.  They can be searched in West Search, our online catalog, in several ways.  The link to the West Search catalog is included here: http://libguides.wcsu.edu/wcsu_libraries/home

1. Title Search, then LIMIT by language

2.  AUTHOR Search (use name of director, actor, etc.), then LIMIT by language

3) Keyword Search - use language and topic words (you may also add title words, actor/actress/director names, studio, etc.)

Note that in these searches, you will need to MODIFY the search, limiting results to DVDs and/or VHS.  If you cannot wait 3-4 working days for delivery of media items from the other CSU libraries, you should also limit your search by location to WCSU.

Please note that VHS tapes and DVD boxes are shelved on the 2nd floor.  You will need to bring the empty DVD box to the Circulation Desk, where staff will insert the item upon checkout.
